Earth Reinforcement Testing, Inc. (ERTesting) was started in July 2007. Most recently, ERTesting became a divison of McMahon & Mann Consulting Engineering and Geology, P.C. We are equipped and experienced to perform nondestructive or minimally invasive tests for corrosion monitoring and condition assessment. The expertise within the company builds upon fifteen years of research devoted to developing the necessary testing protocols for collecting performance and condition assessment data. These test protocols utilize electrochemical and wave propagation techniques, geophysical testing, and more invasive techniques such as load testing, and direct observation of exhumed reinforcements. The resulting data are useful for condition assessment of existing facilities, service life modeling, screening for potentially corrosive conditions, construction quality assurance, and forensic investigations.
